Majestic International Hotel

Our hotel is located at 12/1 on Rafi Ahemad Kidwai Road, which is right in the middle of the Dharmatala area. If you know Kolkata, you know this part of town is always crowded and a bit chaotic. We are situated near the old Majestic Cinema. That’s actually where the name comes from, though the cinema isn't what it used to be. The building we’re in is older, and it has that typical city feel to it. We offer rooms for people who need to stay in the heart of the city without spending too much. It’s a very basic setup, honestly. We don’t have a big lobby or fancy elevators. It’s just rooms and a front desk where one of us is usually sitting. The street outside is full of life, with tea stalls and people selling all sorts of things on the pavement. Sometimes the traffic noise lasts until very late, but that’s just life in Dharmatala. We have guests from all over who come for work or just to see the city. We try to keep things simple and honest. It’s a bit of a struggle sometimes with the old plumbing and the dust from the road, but we manage. We aren’t some big international chain, despite the name. We are just a local hotel trying to provide a decent place to sleep for whoever walks through the door.
