Majestic Hotel

We are located at 4C on Madan Street, right across from the Hindustan Building. Princep Street is a busy area with a lot of small shops selling car parts and electronics. Our hotel is tucked away in the middle of all that noise and bustle. It is an old building with high ceilings and some stairs that creak quite a bit when you walk on them. We have people staying with us who are usually in town for some business or just passing through. The rooms are simple and functional. We spend a lot of time changing bedsheets and making sure the water is running fine in the bathrooms. Sometimes the city noise comes in through the windows, but that is just how it is in this part of town. The reception desk is small and usually has a stack of old registers on it. We don't have a big fancy lobby for people to sit in. It is more of a practical place for people who just need a bed for the night. We handle everything ourselves, from the keys to the cleaning of the rooms. Sometimes we have to fix the wiring or paint a room when it starts to look a bit dull. It is a lot of maintenance work for us. We are just a local business trying to keep things running for the guests who find their way to our door. It is not perfect, but we stay busy and the rooms stay full most of the time.
