Mainland China (Specialtygroup Of Hotels)

We are located at P/79 C.I.T Road in Kolkata, West Bengal. This is where Mainland China operates from in this part of town. It’s a busy road and there is always a lot of noise from the buses and taxis outside. Inside, we are usually prepping for the next meal service. Being part of the Specialtygroup of Hotels means we have certain ways of doing things, but on the ground here in Kolkata, it’s just a lot of hard work in the kitchen and the dining room. We spend our mornings checking the fresh produce and making sure the staff is ready for the day. The building has been here for a while and it has its own character. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just cook food and serve it to the people who walk through the door. Sometimes the kitchen gets incredibly hot, especially in the summer, but we keep going. There is a lot of cleaning involved that people don't see. We have a regular crowd from the neighborhood who comes in, and we know many of them by name. It is just a local business trying to do things right every day. We don’t have a big marketing department here; it’s just us making sure the plates are clean and the food is hot. It’s a simple life, focused on the daily routine of running a restaurant on C.I.T Road.
