Maharaja Coaching Centre

Maharaja Coaching Centre is located in the Debpukur area of Barasat. It’s a bit away from the main rush of Kolkata, so it’s usually a bit quieter around here. We have a simple setup in a ground-floor space. There are a couple of rooms where we hold the classes. We don’t have any fancy tiles on the floor or modern office furniture. It’s mostly just long wooden benches where the students sit together. We’ve been running this center for a while, and it has become a regular part of the daily life in Debpukur. The students come from the local schools around here, often walking or riding their cycles. We open up in the evening and stay until about 8 or 9 o'clock. Sometimes the street lights outside flicker, but we have our own lights inside to keep things going. We don’t have a big team of people; it’s just a few of us who handle everything from teaching to cleaning the rooms. We don’t use any polished language when we talk to the parents. We just tell them how their kids are doing in their studies. If someone is struggling with a subject, we spend a bit more time with them. It’s a very basic and honest way of doing things. We don’t have any big promises or colorful brochures. People just come here because they know we are local and we have been doing this for years.
