Maa Tara Traders

Maa Tara Traders is tucked away at No- 206, Mukta Ram Babu Street. If you know this area, you know how tight the streets can be. It’s a constant struggle with the traffic and the handcarts, but we’ve managed to make it work. We are traders, so our shop is often filled with samples and piles of documents. It’s not the most organized-looking place, but we have our own system that works for us. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and trying to get the right items for our customers. Sometimes people come in just to ask for advice on what they should buy for their small repairs or big builds. We don't mind. We've been in this spot for a long time, and we know most of the neighbors. It’s a very local feel here. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still done by memory and hand-written notes. It’s a bit old-fashioned, I suppose. The fans are always humming, and there’s usually a glass of tea on someone’s desk. We just take things one day at a time, making sure we fulfill the orders that come in. It’s a simple life, and we like the bustle of the street. It keeps us on our toes and makes the day go by fast. We just stay focused on the work we have in front of us.
