Lm Associates is based in the Birati Housing Estate, specifically at Mig (U) -16/13 on M.B. Road in Nimta. It’s not a big commercial office or a store with a glass front. We operate out of a quiet space in the housing complex, which makes it a lot easier for us to focus on our work. We mostly handle tea distribution and help out some of the local vendors in the area with their stock. I started this business a few years back because I wanted to work for myself and I already knew a lot about the tea trade. It’s a small operation, just me and two other people who help with the deliveries and the packing. We have a small storage area where we keep the tea sacks before they go out to the shops. Living and working in Nimta is good because it’s a tight-knit community. We don't have a marketing budget or any fancy flyers. Most of our business comes from word of mouth or people who live nearby. It’s a very simple setup, and that is how we like it. We aren't looking to become a giant corporation. We just want to supply good tea and make a decent living without too much stress. It’s a practical way to run a business, and being in the housing estate keeps our costs down and things simple for everyone involved. That’s our story.
