Linkon Foundation

We’ve been running the Linkon Foundation out of Mohan Kunja for a little while now. If you are looking for us, we are right in Flat No. 1a in the Kaikhali area. It’s not a big fancy office like the ones you see in the center of the city. We have some old desks and a couple of chairs that don’t quite match, but they work well enough for what we do. The hallway is a bit narrow, and sometimes the neighbors are drying clothes nearby, which just makes it feel like home. We spend a lot of our mornings just planning out the week over some tea. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic from the main road, but we’ve gotten used to the noise by now. Most of the people working here are just folks from the neighborhood who wanted to help out. We don’t really have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s mostly just us trying to keep things organized and making sure the local projects get done. We don’t go in for big speeches or glossy photos. Usually, we are just dressed in casual clothes, ready to get to work. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot of paperwork to finish up, but we don’t mind. It feels good to be part of the Kaikhali community. We’re just regular people trying to do our bit every day without making too much of a fuss.
