Learn Tutorial

We have been here at 83 Beniatola Street for a while now. Most people around Kolkata 700005 know where we are. It is just a small place called Learn Tutorial where kids come after school. I started this because I noticed a lot of students in the neighborhood needed a bit of extra help with their homework. It’s not a big fancy center or anything. We just have some desks and chairs and we sit down to go over math or English or whatever they are struggling with that day. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when everyone is talking at once but that is just how it goes. I live nearby too so it is easy for me to open up early or stay late if someone needs more time on a project. People usually just walk over. Beniatola Street is busy but it feels like home to us. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us helping out. We try to keep things simple and focused on the books. It's nothing formal. Just a spot where learning happens without much fuss. We've seen many kids grow up through these doors over the years. Some come back to say hi after they finish school. It makes the long afternoons feel worth it. We just keep doing what we do every day. There is no secret to it, just showing up and helping out.
