LAKHSH NEWAGE CONSULTANTS LLP is up on the 17th floor of the Everest building. That is at 46 Chowringhee Road. Being that high up gives us a pretty good view of Kolkata, which is probably the best part of the office. It is Flat No. 17-G/1. The elevator ride can take a while if it is the busy hour, so we usually try to get in early. It is a consultants firm, so we spend a lot of time on calls or staring at screens. The 700071 area is quite central, so there is always somewhere to get a quick lunch. The office is a bit small for being in such a big building, but it fits us just fine. We are not into the whole new age buzzword thing despite the name; we just use standard ways to help folks with their business needs. It is an LLP, so it is a partnership. We work together pretty closely. Sometimes we argue about where to order food from, but we usually agree on the work stuff. It is a professional enough space, but we keep it relaxed. No one is wearing suits unless they absolutely have to. We just focus on getting through the list of things to do. Chowringhee Road is always buzzing, and being 17 floors up makes us feel a little bit away from the noise, which is nice. We have a small coffee machine that makes a lot of noise but the coffee is okay.
