Our address is 82/4 Biplabi Ullas Kar Dutta Road, located in the Baghajatin area of Kolkata. It’s quite a long name for a street, and sometimes people get lost trying to find the exact number. This part of the city is always humming with energy, and our office for Lafarge India Pvt. Ltd. sits right in the middle of it. We have a modest space here where we manage the supply chain for the southern parts of the city. The office is usually filled with the smell of tea and the sound of the old ceiling fan rattling away. We don't spend money on fancy furniture or decorations. Instead, we have shelves full of files and rows of desks where we sit to handle the daily logistics. Baghajatin is a busy place, and getting around can take some time, so we do a lot of our business over the phone to save everyone a trip. We handle everything from basic order taking to resolving delivery issues at the sites. The staff here has been together for a while, so we work well as a team without needing much direction.
