This office is located in the Bijoli building on Purba Para Road, right near James Long Sarani. If you’ve ever been to this part of Kolkata, you know the traffic can be a real headache. We’re at number 512. It’s a busy area with a lot of shops and people moving about. We handle the distribution side of things for the company from this spot. It’s mostly just keeping track of numbers and making sure the inventory matches what the customers are getting. The room is a bit small for all the stuff we have in it. We’ve got stacks of paper and old files everywhere. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time talking to builders and contractors who are working on projects nearby. There’s always someone coming in with a question about a delivery. We try to give them a straight answer. No one here wears a suit. We’re just regular folks trying to get the work done. The tea here is okay, but we usually go out to the main road for a better cup. It’s a loud place because of the cars outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a practical way to spend the day and we stay busy.
