Lafarge India Private Limited

Our office is located at 41/1A Girish Mukherjee Road in Bhowanipore. It’s a very traditional part of Kolkata, and the building we are in has that classic feel to it. It’s not a modern glass tower, which we actually prefer. We have been working for Lafarge India Private Limited from this spot for some time now. The street outside can be a bit narrow, so parking is always a bit of a puzzle for anyone visiting. Inside, we have a simple layout. There are some desks, a few tall cabinets for our files, and a small area where we keep the kettle. Most of our day is spent dealing with the administrative side of things. We talk to people, handle the paperwork, and try to keep things organized. It’s a steady kind of life. Bhowanipore has a lot of charm, and we like the local shops nearby where we can get a quick snack or some stationery. The light in the office is okay during the day, but we rely on the overhead tubes when the clouds roll in during the monsoon. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big marketing budget for our office appearance. We just focus on getting the work done correctly. It’s a humble place, but it works for us. We know the postman by name and the guy who sells snacks at the corner. It’s just home.
