Lafarge India Private Limited

Lafarge India Private Limited has an office based over in New Town, Rajarhat, specifically on the 8th floor of Block A1 in the DLF IT Park- 1. It’s a big modern building which is a bit different from a local workshop, but the people here are just regular folks doing their jobs. We spend our time managing cement and construction projects across the region. Even though we are up in a high-rise, we are still connected to the dusty reality of building sites. Most of our day is spent looking at spreadsheets, talking to site managers on the phone, and coordinating deliveries. Rajarhat is a fast-growing area, and you can see new towers going up every time you look out the window from the 8th floor. It’s a busy office but we try to keep it relaxed. We aren't into corporate jargon or making big claims. We just focus on the logistics of getting cement to where it needs to be. The commute to the IT park can be a bit of a grind, but the office itself is a good place to work. We have a lot of meetings about supply chains and schedules. It’s a lot of coordination to make sure everything arrives on time. We don't have a flashy website or anything; we just let the work speak for itself. It’s a steady job in a part of the city that never seems to stop growing or building. There is always something new to deal with every morning when we sit down.
