Ismail Company

Ismail Company is located at 28/A G. J. Khan Road. We are right near the Talikhola Masjid, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find our door for the first time. The road gets pretty busy, especially on Fridays when everyone is out and about. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time now. It’s an old building, and it has its quirks, like the front door that sticks when it’s humid outside. We don’t mind it much. Inside, it’s mostly just us working away at our daily tasks. We aren't a big corporation with fancy titles or anything like that. We’re just regular people who have been doing this for a long time. My uncle used to run things, and now we’ve taken over all the daily chores. There’s always something to do, whether it’s checking the inventory or talking to someone who stopped by to ask a question. We keep a big ledger on the desk, and it’s usually full of scribbles and notes. We don’t use a lot of high-tech stuff if we can help it. Simple tools and direct talk are what we use. The neighborhood knows us well. We’ve seen kids grow up and start their own families around here over the years. It feels like home to us. We don’t try to be something we aren't. We just provide what’s needed and keep our heads down. It’s a quiet existence for the most part, despite all the noise from the street.
