Kuebiko Foundation

We are located at 61B Park Street. Everyone knows Park Street for the restaurants and the lights, but if you walk a bit, you’ll find our office. It’s a pretty basic setup for a foundation. We named it Kuebiko after the idea of knowledge and watching over things. Mostly, we are interested in helping people learn things they might not get in a regular school. We focus on workshops and providing resources for people who want to improve their skills. It could be anything from basic computer stuff to helping someone understand how to manage their small business better. Being in central Kolkata means people from all over can reach us. The building is old and the stairs can be a bit of a climb, but it’s home for us. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting around a table trying to figure out how to get more books or tools for the people we help. We aren't a big, polished organization with a lot of funding. Most of what we do comes from just wanting to see people in our city get ahead. Park Street is always noisy outside, but inside we try to keep it a place where you can actually think and learn. We’re just a small group of people trying to share what we know with others.
