Krisha Organics Private Limited is tucked away in New Alipore, at 829, Block P. It’s a bit different being an organic company in a city area like Kolkata, but it works for us. The office is in a residential block, so it feels more like a home than a business. We don't have a big storefront or anything. Mostly, we use this space to manage the distribution and talk to our suppliers from the rural districts. New Alipore is a nice neighborhood, though parking can be a real headache on our street. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, a few computers, and samples of the organic products we handle. We started this because we wanted to bring better food options to people living in the city. It’s not about being a big corporation; it’s about having a reliable place where we can coordinate everything. A lot of our day is spent on the phone or answering emails. We don't have a lot of staff—just a few of us who handle everything from the paperwork to the deliveries. Sometimes the office gets a bit crowded when a new shipment comes in and we have to sort through it. We aren't very polished, and we don't use a lot of fancy business talk. We just tell people what we have and where it came from. It’s a practical way to run a business in the middle of Kolkata. We’ve been at Block P for a while now and the neighbors are used to seeing us.
