Kishalay Majumdar & Co.

Our office is at 24 Panchanna Gram in Tiljala. It is a busy part of town, so there is always noise and people moving about outside. Kishalay Majumdar & Co. started because we saw a need for someone to handle the local trade stuff around here. We are not a corporate firm with suits and ties. Mostly, it is just us sitting around the desks, sorting through files and talking to folks who come in. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of records piled up over the years. We have been in Tiljala for quite a while now. You get used to the rhythm of the neighborhood after a point. We do not spend money on fancy rugs or expensive lighting. The chairs are a bit old and the wood is scratched, but they work fine for the hours we put in. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot of paperwork to finish. It is not glamorous work, but it is what we know how to do. We have had the same neighbors for years, and they know where to find us if they need any help with their accounts or business questions. We try to keep things straightforward. If we can do something, we say so. If we can't, we do not lead anyone on. It is a basic way of working, but it has kept us going through some hard times.
