Key To Success

You can find us on Vidyapith Road in the 700051 area of Kolkata. It's a busy stretch of road and we’ve been operating Key To Success from this spot for a bit. The entrance is right off the main path, so you hear the rickshaws and buses going by all day long. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, but the street noise never really goes away. We have a few rooms partitioned off. The carpet in the front is a bit worn from everyone walking in and out, but it’s still holding up. We don’t do much in the way of decorating; it’s mostly just shelves filled with folders and some old calendars. The windows are usually kept closed to keep the noise down, though it can get a little stuffy if the power goes out. We keep some extra stools stacked in the corner for when it gets crowded. Every morning we open up the shutters and get the lights going. It’s a very practical setup. We spend a lot of time just sitting at the desks, reading through materials or chatting with the people who drop in. There’s a small shop next door where we usually grab a quick snack during the break. It’s just a normal workplace where we put in our hours and go home. Nothing too complicated about how we run things here on Vidyapith Road.
