You can find KCK Hospitalities over at 7 Pollock Street in Kolkata. We are based in the office of Bimal Kumar Kandoi. If you know the area, you know Pollock Street is right in the thick of things. It’s a crowded, busy street with a lot of history and even more traffic. We like it here because it feels like the real heart of the city. Our office is a bit of a mix of old and new. We have stacks of files and computer screens everywhere. We are focused on the hospitality industry, but we spend most of our time here doing the background work that makes things run. It’s not always glamorous. There’s a lot of coordination with different properties and making sure the numbers add up. Kolkata is a fast-moving place, and we try to keep up as best as we can. Sometimes the noise from the street is so loud we have to shout over the phones, but that’s just part of the experience of being on Pollock Street. We are just a small group of people working hard. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It’s just us. We’ve been here for a while and we know the tea sellers on the corner and the other business owners nearby. It’s a tough business, but we keep at it every day because it’s what we know.
