Kanti Social Foundation

Kanti Social Foundation is located at Hn 24/1/2/6 on Sthirpara Road West. It is a bit of a long house number to remember but once you find the street it is not too hard to spot us. The area is mostly residential so it stays pretty quiet during the day which is nice for getting work done. We have a small setup here. It is basically just a few rooms with some old furniture and a computer that takes a while to start up. We handle various social tasks that come up in the local area. Nobody here wears a suit or a tie. We just show up in our regular clothes and get to it. Sthirpara Road is a place where everyone knows each other’s business so we see a lot of familiar faces passing by the window every day. The foundation does not have a big budget for fancy things. We just focus on the practical side of things and try to be useful to the people who live nearby. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door but we just put a bucket there and keep moving. It is just a local operation run by people who live in the neighborhood. We do not have a big mission statement on the wall. We just deal with things as they come. If you are walking down Sthirpara Road West, you might see us sitting inside or standing out front having a chat.
