Kalloldeep Foundation

Kalloldeep Foundation is over in Kharagpur. We are in the DVC Mayapur area, right near the NCC office. The place is run by the daughter of the late Binod Bihari Chanda. Our address is house number 430/324 in ward 34. It’s a very specific spot, but most people in Mayapur know where the NCC office is, so we are easy to find. The foundation isn't a big corporate entity. It’s a family-run kind of thing that has been part of the community for years. We don’t have a lobby with a receptionist. You just walk in and someone will be there to help you. The office is a bit cluttered with papers and old files, but we know where everything is. Kharagpur can be a busy, industrial town, but our corner feels more like a small village. We don't have a marketing department or a social media manager. We just talk to people when we see them at the market or on the street. It’s a very practical, old-school way of doing things. We don’t use big words to describe what we do. We just try to help out the neighbors and keep the legacy of Binod Bihari Chanda going. Sometimes the work is tiring, but it’s worth it to see the familiar faces every day. We aren't looking to expand or become a huge organization. We just want to stay right here in Mayapur and be useful.
