Jaiprakash Associates Ltd Jaypee Group Cement Division

Over here in Bally, specifically in Sastitala, things move at a bit of a different pace. We are located at the house of Jyotsna Kar Singha, which serves as our base for the Jaypee Group Cement Division here. It’s a bit of an unusual setup, being tucked away in a residential-feeling area like this, but it works for what we need. Jaiprakash Associates Ltd has a lot of branches, but this one is ours to look after. The air can get a bit dusty sometimes, which I guess is expected when you're in the cement business. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the ledgers. The P.S. Bally area is always busy, and being in Howrah means we deal with a lot of traffic and heat. The office isn't anything big or shiny. It’s just a practical space where we can sit down and get the coordination done. We have a few old filing cabinets and a desk that’s seen better days. It’s a quiet corner of Sastitala for the most part, though you can hear the sounds of the town not too far off. We don't have any big mission statements on the wall. We just show up in the morning, do the work that needs doing, and try to keep things organized. It’s a steady job in a steady part of town, and we’ve been here long enough to feel like part of the neighborhood. It’s just work.
