In Bhubaneswar, Orissa, J K Cement Ltd has an office at Hig 2/40, Satyasai Enclave. It’s located in the Khandagir area, which is a place with a lot of history. We’re at 751030, though we just say Bhubaneswar 30 usually. Working here is different from being at a factory site. We spend more time on phones and computers coordinating things. It’s still about cement, of course, but from an administrative side. The enclave is a decent place to work from. We aren't a massive corporate headquarters; we’re just the branch that looks after things in this part of Orissa. The team is small, and we’ve worked together for quite a while. We don't go in for fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just want to make sure our customers in this region get their cement on time. Sometimes the logistics can be a headache, especially with the traffic around Khandagir, but we figure it out. We talk to builders, suppliers, and truck drivers all day long. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of tracking numbers. We try to keep a friendly atmosphere in the office. It makes the long days go by faster. We aren't looking to impress anyone with big words or shiny brochures. We just want to do our jobs well and go home to our families at the end of the day. That’s really all there is to our daily routine here in the enclave.
