It Shop

It Shop is situated right near Sabir Hotel on Princep Street. The address is 1/1a, Biplabi Anukul Chandra Street. If you know Kolkata, you know Princep Street is the heart of the electronics and computer market. It is always crowded and noisy, with people carrying heavy boxes and rickshaws squeezing through the narrow lanes. Our shop is small and packed with parts from the floor to the ceiling. We often have to move three boxes just to find one specific cable. It is a bit chaotic, but that is the nature of the business here. Being so close to Sabir Hotel is a bonus because the smell of good food is always in the air. We do not have a fancy website or a marketing department. Most of our work comes from people walking by or regulars who have been coming to us for years. We spend our days answering questions and searching through our stock for specific components. The lights in the shop are a bit dim, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it does not bother us. We are more interested in what is inside the computers we work on. It is a tough environment with the heat and the crowds, but we would not want to be anywhere else. This street has a life of its own and we are just one small part of it.
