We are over at 34/H/B on Subhash Nagar Road. It’s right in the Rabindra Nagar area of Kolkata, which is quite close to the Dum Dum Cantonment Railway Station. If you are coming by train, it is just a short walk to get to us. The building is an older one, tucked away a bit from the loudest parts of the main road. The Institute Of Education has been a part of this neighborhood for a long time. We have several rooms where we hold our sessions. They aren't fancy, just simple rooms with whiteboards and enough chairs for everyone. Sometimes the paint is a bit chipped and the furniture looks its age, but everything is clean and ready for use. The 700065 area is always bustling, and we feel like a small part of that daily energy. You can hear the sounds of the station every now and then, which reminds us of where we are. We have a lot of students who come in after their regular school hours. It’s a place where work actually happens without much fuss. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who take turns managing things and helping out. It’s a very local feel here. We know the shopkeepers on the corner and the people who live in the surrounding flats. It’s just a regular, down-to-earth place where we try to get through the day's lessons and help people out with their studies.
