Indian Trade Agency

Our office is at No - 26 Brabourne Road, right in the middle of all the noise and the crowds. Indian Trade Agency is a small operation, mostly just a few desks and a lot of old filing cabinets that are hard to open. We handle a lot of different trade things, which means the phone is almost always ringing. It can get pretty stressful when there are deadlines, but we usually manage to get things sorted out. The building we are in is quite old and has that smell of paper and ink that you only find in these parts of town. We take turns going out to get snacks or tea for everyone in the afternoon. It is hard to find parking around here, so most of us just take the bus or walk from the station. We have been at this address for quite a while now. The furniture is a bit mismatched and the floor is worn down in the spots where people walk the most. We don't really do much to decorate the place, we just focus on the ledgers and the shipping notes. It’s a practical way to work. Some days we stay late just to finish up the paperwork so we don't have to deal with it the next morning. It’s just how things go here on Brabourne Road. We keep a small radio in the corner, but it mostly just plays static unless the weather is very clear.
