Iit Zone

Iit Zone sits at 54, Bipin Ganguly Road, right near the Milan Sangha Club in Kolkata. It’s a busy little corner of the city, and our building is easy to spot once you get close to the club. We’ve been operating from this 700030 address for a while now. The space inside is mostly filled with benches and whiteboards for the students who are aiming for the tough exams. It’s not a glamorous place. The walls have some posters on them, and there are stacks of books and old test papers piled up in the corners. We spend a lot of time just sitting with students and going over math problems or science concepts. The fans hum overhead all day, and you can hear the street noise from Bipin Ganguly Road if the windows are open. Most of our staff are just people who enjoy the subjects and want to see the local kids do okay for themselves. We have a routine here, starting early and often staying until the street lights come on. Students come from all over this part of Kolkata. Sometimes we have tea together during the breaks. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of place where the focus is just on the books. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a fancy reception area. It’s just us, the students, and a lot of hard work in a simple room near Milan Sangha. That is how we have always done things.
