Our office is located at 257 Block A in Bangur Avenue. It is a busy little spot, and Icall Consultants Private Limited has been operating from here for a good while. The street outside is usually full of activity, which is typical for this part of Kolkata. Inside, it’s mostly just us working at our desks and trying to keep everything organized. We handle a lot of consulting work, so there is always someone on the phone or typing away on a keyboard. The walls are a bit plain, and we have a few plants that probably need more water than they get. It’s a practical space, meant for getting things done rather than looking impressive. We don't really have a receptionist or anything, so if someone drops by, one of us just gets up to see what they need. The files are stacked in the corners, and the calendar on the wall is usually covered in scribbles. We take our lunch breaks at different times, often just grabbing something quick from the local vendors nearby. It’s a simple way of working, but it suits us just fine. We know the neighbors and they know us. Bangur Avenue has a certain rhythm to it, and we are just a small part of that daily flow. No two days are exactly the same, but the general routine stays pretty consistent for all of us who work here in this small block office.
