Tagore Road has its own rhythm, and we’ve been part of it for a while now. The building is older, with thick walls that keep it somewhat cool, though the Kolkata humidity still finds its way in. We have a simple setup inside. There are enough desks for everyone and a small corner with a water cooler and a stack of paper cups. It’s not the most modern space you’ll ever see, but it’s functional. We don't have any polished marble or glass partitions. It’s more about wooden desks and some old-fashioned cabinets. The commute can be a bit of a haul for some of us, depending on the traffic near Behala, but we make it work. Most days are spent on the phones or computers. We take our breaks at the small tea stalls nearby where you can get a good cup of chai in a clay pot. It’s a very grounded place to work. We don't have a big corporate mission or anything like that posted on the walls. We just come in, do our jobs as best as we can, and go home to our families. It’s a local operation with real people who’ve worked together for quite some time now.
