We are based at Ibm India Pvt Ltd on Krishna Ram Bose Street in Shyambazar. The address is 4 4C. If you know North Kolkata, you know how crowded and full of life it is. This street is no exception. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of history. Our office is in one of those older buildings with high ceilings. It’s not a shiny new office block. It feels very much like the rest of Shyambazar. We have our desks and computers set up in a way that works for us. It can get a bit loud with the traffic and the markets nearby, but that’s just the neighborhood. We don’t have any polished marketing materials or a fancy entrance. We are just a local branch doing our work. Most of the people here have been working in this area for years. We usually get our tea from the same stall every morning. It’s a very simple and honest environment. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. We just handle the tech work and the admin stuff from here. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you’re not used to the narrow streets, but we like it that way. It’s a real part of Kolkata life.
