Ibm India Pvt Ltd is located in Sector III of Salt Lake City. Our specific spot is KC647. If you are familiar with Kolkata, you know Salt Lake is a bit more planned out than the rest of the city. We are right there in the 700091 area. The office is pretty basic, nothing too flashy or corporate looking. It’s just a place where we come every morning to get our work done. We have a few rooms filled with computers and desks. The building itself is standard for this part of town. Salt Lake can get quite busy during the day with all the other offices around, but our little corner is usually manageable. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and we are there. Most of us take the local buses or rickshaws to get here. There are some good tea stalls and small shops nearby where we go for our breaks. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t use any big marketing slogans or talk about being the best. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day. Sometimes the traffic on the way in is a headache, but that is just part of living in West Bengal. It’s an honest place to work and we’ve been here for quite some time now. We like it here because it is simple and quiet enough to focus on what we are doing without too much fuss.
