Human Protection & Awareness Orgnisation

Our organization is located on the first floor of P-19 on C.I.T. Road. This is in the Scheme Viii-M part of Kolkata, 700067. We focus on human protection and making sure people in our area know their basic rights. It is a busy street outside with lots of cars and people passing by all the time. Our office is a simple one-floor space where we sit and talk about how to reach more people. The stairs leading up to us are a little narrow and old, but it is home to us. We spend a lot of time writing down information and planning small local events to raise awareness. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of experts. We are just regular people who think it is important for everyone to stay safe and informed. Sometimes we go out and talk to shopkeepers or residents about safety issues. It is a lot of walking and talking. We like being in this part of Kolkata because it feels real and connected. Our meetings are informal and we don't use any corporate jargon. We just speak in plain English and try to be as helpful as possible to anyone who walks through our door. It is honest work and we do it because we think it needs to be done. We’ve been here for a while now and we don't plan on moving to any fancy high-rise building.
