Human Ambulance Foundation

We are over here at Nehru Colony, right on Dakshindari Road. Our spot is on the ground floor, Flat-A to be exact. It’s not a huge place, but it gets the job done for the Human Ambulance Foundation. Most days it’s just us handling the phones and making sure things are moving. We’ve been in this part of Kolkata Parganas North for a bit now. People around here know the address because it’s easy to find once you get into the colony. We mostly deal with the logistics and making sure the help gets where it needs to go. Sometimes the traffic outside gets pretty bad, especially near the main road, but we manage. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. We just have a desk, some chairs, and a lot of lists to keep track of. The neighborhood is mostly quiet until the rush hour starts. If you come by, you’ll see we are just a small group trying to stay organized. There isn't any big sign or anything flashy. We just focus on the work we have in front of us. Some of the staff live nearby, so they just walk in. It’s a practical setup. We keep the kettle going for tea and try to stay on top of the requests that come in. It’s a busy life but it’s what we do every day.
