Down here in Santoshpur, specifically at 8 Avenue First Road in Jadavpur, you’ll find our Acc Concrete Ltd. office. We are part of the Holceim group, so we’ve got that international connection, but our daily life is very much centered on the streets of Kolkata. This part of the city is always bustling, and trying to navigate the narrow roads with our equipment is always a bit of a challenge. We’ve been here long enough that most of the local contractors know where to find us. Our space isn't very large, but it serves us well for managing the paperwork and coordinating the loads. Kolkata has its own way of doing things, and we’ve learned to work with the local pace and the specific needs of the builders around Jadavpur. We don't have a lot of corporate polish here. It's more about gritty boots and making sure the mix is right for the humid climate we deal with. Every morning starts with a look at the schedule and a lot of shouting across the yard to get things moving. It’s a practical business, really.
