Hotel Royal Garden

We are tucked away at 163A on Park Street, which is a part of Kolkata that never really seems to go to sleep. Our place is not huge, but it sits right in the middle of all the noise and crowds. You walk out the door and you are immediately surrounded by everything the city has to offer. Inside, we just try to keep things quiet enough so people can get some rest. It is an old area with a lot of history, and you can see that in the buildings on our street. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for many years now. They know how the city works and where the best local food is hidden. We spend our mornings checking the rooms and making sure everything is ready for the next person coming in. It is a lot of routine work, really. Park Street has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of that. Some people stay with us because they want to be near the restaurants. Others are just here for some quick business. We don't have a big fancy lobby with statues or anything, just a desk and a few chairs. It is a bit lived-in, but we like it that way.
