Helping Hands Association For People

Our place is located at 47B Ripon Street. It is an old building but it serves us well enough for what we do. The street outside is always noisy with traffic and people walking by at all hours of the day. We have a small sign out front so people can find the door without getting lost. Inside, it is mostly just one big room where we keep everything we need for the association. We spend a lot of our time talking to people who come in off the street. Some days are really packed and other days it is just us sitting around waiting for the phone to ring. We don't have fancy furniture or a coffee machine, just a kettle and some mugs in the corner for tea. Ripon Street is a good location because it is central and easy for everyone to reach. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out. We help out where we can with whatever people need at the time. It is mostly just us trying to be useful to the folks around here. We have been at this address for a good while now. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but that is not really a priority for us right now. It is a bit messy sometimes with all the boxes of donations tucked away in corners. But it works for us.
