Our office is up on the first floor at 39A Armenian Street. It’s one of those older buildings where the stairs are a bit narrow and you can feel the history of the neighborhood. My father started things here, and now we just keep it going. It’s a family business through and through. The rooms are filled with old wooden desks and shelves that are sagging a bit under the weight of all the files. We deal with various trading activities, mostly stuff that’s been in the family for generations. You can hear the noise from the street below all day long. Armenian Street is always busy with people selling things and carts moving past. We like being on the first floor because it’s slightly quieter than the ground level, but we can still see what’s going on outside. We don’t have an elevator, so we get our exercise walking up and down those steps. Most of our clients have been coming to us for decades. They know where to find us and they don't expect anything flashy. We offer them a seat, maybe some water or tea, and talk business. It is a slow and steady way of working. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep the tradition alive and do right by the people we work with every day. The office might be a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is.
