We are based out of Lopamudra Apartment, which is at 7 North Nawdapara Road in the Ariadaha area. It’s a bit of an older part of the suburbs, and the office is right in a residential building. We’ve been here for a good amount of time, and the neighbors are all used to us by now. It’s not the kind of place you’d expect a big cement company to have an office, but it serves its purpose for the local work we do. The rooms are a bit small and we have files stacked up in the corners because there never seems to be enough shelf space. We handle the local coordination and some of the accounts from this location. Ariadaha is a fairly quiet place compared to the center of the city, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on numbers. The walk from the main road isn't too long, though the street can get a bit muddy when the monsoon hits. We don't have a big reception area or anyone to greet you at the door. You just walk in and find us at our desks. It’s a very informal setup. Most of our day is spent on the phone or dealing with the logistics of cement bags being moved around the region. We aren't trying to look bigger than we are. We just do the work, pay the bills, and keep things moving. It’s a practical way to run things without all the overhead of a fancy downtown office.
