George Telegraph Training Institute

We are based in the Kamarhati area of Kolkata. Our building is where we do all the training and classes for the George Telegraph Training Institute. It is a very local spot, right in the heart of a busy community. You can always hear the sound of the city outside our windows, from the honking cars to the people walking by. Inside, it is usually quite loud too, with students talking and instructors going over lessons. We have classrooms filled with equipment for the various technical things we teach. We focus on teaching practical skills that people can actually use to find work. The floors are a bit worn down, and the desks are simple wooden ones. We do not spend much money on decorations or fancy signs. Most of our effort goes into making sure the students understand the machines and the tools. The staff here are all local people who have been in this field for a long time. We have a small office where we handle the registrations and the paperwork. It is a very busy environment, especially in the mornings when the new batches arrive. We just try to keep everything organized and make sure the equipment is working. It is a down-to-earth place that serves the people in Kamarhati.
