George School Of Competitive Exams is over in Block A, specifically at number 334. We deal with competitive exam prep here in Kolkata. It’s situated near the Manasha Mandir, which really helps people find the building since the street numbers around here can be a bit confusing sometimes. It’s a pretty busy spot most days. Students come in and out all day long with their heavy books and notes. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy because of all the traffic and people moving around outside on the street. We have been in this location for a good while now. We basically just sit here and help people get ready for their various government tests and other exams. There is nothing too fancy about the building itself. Inside, you will just find some basic desks and chairs for the students. We keep the doors open usually to let some air in. The temple nearby is the best landmark to use if you are coming for the first time. If you walk right past the Mandir, you will see our sign hanging up. It is not a huge office, just enough room to fit the classes comfortably. We focus on going through the syllabus and looking at old papers. People come in to ask about different exam dates and we try to give them the right materials. It gets a bit crowded in the afternoons when the batches change over and everyone is moving at once. We try to keep things organized but sometimes papers get stacked up on the tables. That is just how it goes when you are busy teaching every day. Most of the people living around here know where we are. It is just a regular place where students spend their time trying to figure out their futures. There is no big mystery to it, just a lot of studying.
