Galaxy Hotel

You can find us at 3 Stuart Lane, just off Park Street. It’s a quiet little lane but once you walk out, you’re right in the middle of everything in Kolkata. We’ve been running this hotel for some time now. It’s not a huge place, just a few floors with rooms for people visiting the city. Being near Park Street helps because people want to be near the restaurants and shops without being right on the noisy main road. The rooms are basic but they have what you need for a night or two. We get a lot of travelers who are just passing through or here for work. The building is older, like a lot of stuff in this part of town, but we keep it going. It’s easy to get a taxi or a rickshaw from the corner. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside during the day because of the traffic, but the lane itself stays pretty calm. We don't have a big fancy lobby. It's just a small desk where we check people in and out. Most of our guests are regulars who stay with us every time they come to Kolkata. We don't bother with fancy ads or anything. Just simple rooms in a good location. If you need something, the staff is usually around to help out. It's a straightforward place to stay and we try to keep it comfortable.
