Future Tutorial Centre

We are located at 6, Revarenda Kali Banerjee Row, which is right beside Chacha’s Hotel. If you have ever eaten there, you know exactly where we are. The smell of the food sometimes drifts into our rooms in the evening, which makes everyone a bit hungry around dinner time. It is a busy little spot in Kolkata. Our rooms are filled with desks and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We did not go for anything modern, just the basics that get the job done for the students. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we spend more time looking at the notebooks anyway. It gets quite lively when the batches change over and students are coming and going through the front door. We have kids from all over the neighborhood. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just open the windows and keep going with the natural light from the street. It is a straightforward place. No one is here for anything other than to study and get their homework finished. We see the same faces every week, and it is nice to see the kids grow up and move on to college. Being near the hotel means there are always people around, so it never feels lonely. It is just a normal tutorial center doing its thing day in and day out. Nothing fancy, just us and the books.
