If you know the Dunlop Crossing area, you’ve probably seen us. Frozen Hotel And Family Restaurant is located right at 142 B T Road in Ashokgarh. It’s a noisy part of town because of all the traffic and the buses constantly honking, but we like being in the middle of it. We run a restaurant here that feels a lot like home to us. It’s not a fancy place with velvet curtains or anything like that. We just have sturdy tables and chairs and a menu that people seem to like. Being near the crossing means we get all sorts of people walking in, from workers to families out for a meal. The kitchen is always going from early morning until late at night. We’ve been here long enough that the regulars don’t even need to look at the menu anymore; they just sit down and ask what’s good today. Ashokgarh is a lively place to work. Sometimes the dust from the road gets to be a bit much, but we keep the place clean and keep serving. We call it a family restaurant because that’s the vibe we try to have every day. It’s just us and a few staff members making sure everyone gets fed. We stay open pretty late most days because that's when the dinner crowd hits. It’s a lot of work keeping a hotel and restaurant going on B T Road, but it’s our life. We don’t really do much advertising; people just find us.
