Firstsource

You can find us at E/4, East Rajapur, over in the Jadavpur area of Kolkata. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of students and small shops. Firstsource has been operating from this spot for some time now. Kolkata 75 is a good place to be based because it's well-connected. Our office is pretty basic. We have rows of desks and people on headsets or typing away. It’s a bit noisy during the day because there’s always something happening. We aren't tucked away in some high-rise building; we're right here in the middle of things. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but we get used to it. We deal with a lot of data and customer queries. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we have a good group of people here who make it okay. We don't have any fancy art on the walls or a lounge. We mostly just focus on getting through the daily tasks. We take our breaks at the local tea stalls or bring food from home. It’s a very grounded workplace. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. We just show up, do the work, and deal with whatever problems pop up that day. It’s a typical Kolkata office where everyone knows the best places to get snacks nearby. It's just a bunch of us working hard in a part of the city we know well.
