You can find us at 1/U, Sapgachi 1Si Lane, right here in Kolkata. This part of the city, the 700039 area, is where Firstsource operates from. It’s tucked away in one of those lanes that can be a little tricky to find if you aren't from around here. We’ve got a regular office setup, nothing too grand. It's mostly just rows of desks and people on headsets or typing away. We handle a lot of different tasks for other companies, which means we are always busy with something new. The atmosphere is pretty casual; we don't go in for all that corporate stuff that you see in the big glass buildings downtown. People here just want to do their jobs and go home to their families. We have a small break area where we drink too much tea and talk about the latest cricket scores. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just how things are sometimes. We aren't trying to change the world, we are just providing a service and making sure the work gets done right. It’s a lot of data and talking to people on the other side of a screen. We try to keep a friendly vibe in the office because the work can be repetitive. It's an honest living in a busy part of West Bengal. We’ve been in Sapgachi for a bit now and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the lane and the people who live nearby.
