You’ll find us on the 4th floor at 7 B.B. Ganguly Street. Being up that high gives us a bit of a break from the noise of the street level in Kolkata. Fame Vanijya Llp has been based in this building for a while now. It’s a solid old place with stairs that make you work for it, though the lift usually works okay. Our office is a mix of old desks and newer computers. We don't put much stock in having the latest office gadgets as long as what we have works fine. West Bengal is a great place to be doing business, and this particular neighborhood is always alive with activity. We spend our mornings catching up on emails and our afternoons usually involve more paperwork than we’d like. But that’s just how it goes. We don't have a fancy lobby or any corporate art on the walls. We just have what we need to get the day started and finished. Most of us have lived in the city for years, so we know how to handle the heat and the crowds. We just try to keep things moving along without any unnecessary drama. It’s a basic operation and we prefer it that way. We aren't making big promises, we just do the daily tasks that come with running an LLP. It’s a decent way to spend the day. Usually, we share a box of biscuits while we work through the afternoon slump.
