Sometimes the lift is out of service, so we end up getting a bit of a workout on the stairs, but it’s not too bad. The office is a straightforward space in the 700035 area of Kolkata. We’ve been here for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of the building. It’s not a shiny new skyscraper, just a solid old place where we can focus on our work. We do consultancy, which mostly means we spend our time looking at data and talking to people. Our desks are usually covered in notebooks and pens. We aren’t the type of people to wear suits and ties every day. We prefer being comfortable while we work. The neighborhood is full of small businesses like ours, so it feels like a good fit. We often get our lunch from the little shops downstairs. We don’t have any grand slogans or polished marketing materials. We just provide our services to whoever needs them and try to be honest about what we can do. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way.
