Esdee Consultants & Advisors Private Limited is based at 7/A Bentinck Street. We are up on the 2nd floor. Bentinck Street is famous for its shops, especially for shoes and musical instruments, so there is always something interesting to see when we walk into work. We are in the Kolkata-West Bengal area, specifically the heart of the old business district. The office itself is quite plain. We have the usual stuff like computers, printers, and a lot of shelving for our records. It’s not the kind of place you see in movies with glass walls and modern art. It’s more of a traditional Kolkata office space. We spend our hours advising and consulting, which keeps us pretty busy from morning until evening. The windows let in some light, but they also let in the sounds of the street, which can be quite loud with all the horns honking. We’ve grown used to it. Sometimes we have meetings over a cup of tea brought in from the stall outside. There isn't any fancy marketing plan here. We just try to do our work well so people keep coming back. It’s a humble setup, and we like it that way. Everyone here knows their job and we just get on with it without any drama. It feels like a small community inside these four walls.
