English Coaching Centre

We are located right on 2 J N S Road, very close to the Indian Bank and Hiralal College. If you know that area of Kolkata, you know it gets quite crowded with students and people rushing to work. Our place is very simple. We have some wooden benches, a couple of whiteboards, and books piled up everywhere. I started this center because I saw how many people around here needed a bit of extra help with their English. We are not a big chain or anything like that. It is just a small space where we sit down and go through grammar and speaking every day. The 700035 area has a lot of energy. Sometimes the noise from the college street comes right inside through the windows, but we just keep working. Most of our students come from the immediate neighborhood. We do not have a fancy reception desk or a secretary. Usually, I am the one opening the door and checking the mail. Classes run throughout the day and into the evening. I try to keep the atmosphere relaxed so nobody feels nervous about making mistakes while they are learning. The building is old but it stays relatively cool in the heat because of the thick walls. There is a small tea stall just outside where students often hang out for a bit after their sessions are finished. I have been teaching here for a few years now. It is just a room where people come to learn.
