EGC ECONOMIC GARDENING CENTRE (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED

Our office is on the 2nd floor of 6/A, Rajani Bhattacharjee Lane. This lane is one of those narrower streets in Kolkata where things feel a bit more tucked away from the main thoroughfares. It is a bit quieter here, which we appreciate. The building is a typical older structure. You have to walk up two flights of stairs to get to us. The office is pretty compact. We have a few desks squeezed in and some tall shelves for all our paperwork. Since it is a small setup, it is an intimate environment. We handle everything from this one location. There’s a ceiling fan that makes a bit of a clicking sound, but we’ve stopped noticing it. We have a small balcony that looks out over the lane. You can see the daily life of the neighborhood from there. It’s a very practical space. We don't have any expensive art on the walls or leather sofas. It’s mostly just us, our computers, and a lot of notebooks. We like the local feel of being on a lane rather than a big highway. People in the area know us. It’s a simple way to run a business. We do our work, talk to our contacts, and keep things moving. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our life and we are used to the rhythm of this place. We stay busy with the gardening center work and it feels right.
